Adverse Weather Information

During the dark winter days, we encourage pupils to put safety first.  This includes dressing appropriately so that they can be seen at all times and to wear appropriate outerwear/footwear for the weather conditions.  Pupils have been reminded about the procedures to follow in the event of wintry weather, please discuss these arrangements with your son/daughter including if the school were to close during the day.  If unable to get into school, pupils should work through the materials appropriate to them as instructed by their class teachers.  Information about changes to school bus routes or school closures will be posted on the Aberdeenshire Council website and on the school infoline.

Qualifications

Advanced apprenticeship you will need to have achieved or are predicted 4 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths and English Language. For some of our Engineering roles you will require a Maths Grade B or above, please see our website for more details.

Equivalent qualifications are accepted.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship in Engineering you will need to have a full driving licence on application.

All our roles are aimed at ages 16+ years with staring salaries of £14466 – we aim to start at various start dates throughout 2017

Aberdeen Asset Management – Apprenticeships

Aberdeen Asset Management is recruiting to their apprenticeship programme in their Aberdeen and Edinburgh offices.   The apprenticeship comprises of six rotations over two years in different departments across the business giving apprentices a well-rounded view of the asset management industry and its related functions. The programme offers apprentices the opportunity to earn as they learn.  In addition to a formalised induction and extensive internal training opportunities, apprentices complete a vocational qualification during your first year and study for an industry recognised qualification during the second year of the programme.  Applicants must have achieved 3 Scottish Highers or equivalent or be working towards this.  Candidates interested must complete our online application* which can be found on www.aberdeen-asset.com/vacancies:
